• • • 1687 – George Lord Jeofferies (or “Jeffreys” or “Jefferies”) and his brother-in-law Thomas Bloodworth for sale of Manor of Easthampnet.  Bloodworth was Mayor of London when it burned down in 1666.  Jeofferies was famous in his own right as the infamous Chancellor of James II.   This document is unique in that it was signed just before the Glorious Revolution of 1688.  Jeofferies no doubt felt a sense of pending danger.
    • 1751 – Lease between Ann Middleton of Cambridge and William Sauxter of Ely Isle in Cambridge for land in Wentworth.
    • 1862 – Marriage Settlement from Major Henry Thomas Arbuthnot to Anna Jane Molobray.

    • 1847 – Last Will of Richard Thomas Williams (Surgeon) of City of Bristol.  Great Seal of Archbishop of Canterbury.
    • 1699 – Thomas Browning et al to William Smith for 36 acres in Canterbury, England.
    • 1807 – Reverend Henry Norwich, Bishop of Norwich to Mrs. Sarah Lowden, for land in Norwich.  Great seal.
    • 1807 – John Knowles, Esq. of Painswirk, County of Gloucester to William Drent, agreement for Church Pew.
    • 1814 – Will of George Hatfield of His Majesty’s Treasury Whitehall.
    • 1658 – Deed, Richard Hamden, Esq. et al to Richard Browne.  P.S. – Hamden was in Parliament in 1656 representing Windover, and also, an  Attorney to Oliver Cromwell.
    • 1798- Assignment of land in America signed by General John Read of Read School of Music fame.  Also, signed by Aaron Burr, Walter and John Rutherford.
    • 1792, 1802, 1832 – 3 Agreements relating to and signed by Gillows of Gillows Department Store and Furniture Maker on Oxford Street in London.
